Lancaster Painters Australia have forty years of experience in traditional heritage painting and decorating. We provide a fully licensed Australia-wide professional painting, decorating, artistic, conservation, restoration and reconstruction service for all residential and commercial, heritage conservation and painting work. Our heritage listings include South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. We have full apprenticeship qualifications and Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. Our insurances include accident insurance and 20 million dollars of public liability. Certificates of Practical Completion are supplied throughout all stages of the job. Working to the latest national WHS (Work Health & Safety) policies, Lancaster Painters Australia operate using Safe Work Methods and Environmental Management. We have completed the accredited 22002VIC course in Sustainable Painting Practices and the accredited Safe Lead and Asbestos Management course CPCCPD3011A.

Top Quality Workmanship

Lancaster Painters Australia comply with the Australian Industry Standards by following the AS/NZ 2311:2009 specification on substrate preparation and application of the coating system, and the Master Painters Association Industry Standard for the Surface Coating Industry. We ensure surfaces are thoroughly prepared before applying the coating systems. Cracks, from minor hair-line cracks up to major structural cracking are filled using the correct materials. For major cracks this may involve sand, lime and cement or even plastering. All surfaces are rubbed down and dusted off, and in some cases, may require washing down. Preparation is the most important aspect of a job, ensuring the quality of the final finish as well as adding years onto the paintwork before it will need painting again. For heritage buildings that were previously painted with paints that contained lead, Lancaster Painters Australia provide a professional lead testing and lead paint removal service.
